Warm Flower Room Slow Hours

This project involved the renovation of an old single-story residence, with an indoor area of 108m2. Guangzhou Julong Bay

Guangzhou Julong Bay is an exhibition center created inside four brick warehouses built in the 1950s on the west bank of the Pearl River. A large-span steel frame and a sloping glass curtain wall form a canopy above the parallel barns, joining them into one flexible interior of 5000 square meters. The steel structure extends to the ground on both sides to form a corridor open to the riverside landscape and the existing plants.

The redesign of the building's layout involved significant changes to both the structure and construction, resulting in more interior openings, larger glazed areas such as the full-width window in the living room, and an overall optimization for multi-family use.

Square

Square is a learning center for a university in Switzerland. The interior is built as an open grid and is based on the idea of unbroken connectivity and multifunctionality. The design covers around 7000 square meters across two upper floors, a ground floor and a basement. Open plan areas are combined with fifteen rooms, a cafeteria and a lounge. A toolbox of movable furniture, presentation equipment, a foldable stage, rugs and plants allows each area to be arranged for the event taking place. Most items are fitted with castor wheels, so they can be moved freely.

Setoff

Setoff is a compound exhibition and sales store for kitchenware in central Taipei. The store covers 240 square meters across three floors. The first and second floors each hold two exhibition areas, while the third floor holds one exhibition area and an office. Natural materials and low saturation colors are used on the ceiling, floor and walls, so the exhibits remain the focus. A foggy gray brand wall displays building materials and hardware samples in a row. Light belts join the ceiling and the wall to extend the space.
