Home to Modern Art
Home to Modern Art is the interior design of a residential apartment of 330 square meters in Taichung City, Taiwan. Three tall cabinets shaped like standing jewelry boxes act as a screen in the foyer. Horizontal stone lines connect the walls and the flooring across the home. The lines and colors follow the placement of the contemporary artworks, so each piece remains distinct. Imported veneer, metal, glass, stone and leather set the main tone. A light wall behind the master bed both divides and brightens the room.
Home to Modern Art Residential Apartment by Mick Space Interior Design has been identified as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards.
