Sun Bathed Greenery
Sun Bathed Greenery is a residential interior design completed in Hsinchu County, Taiwan. The home follows a minimalist approach, with a black, beige and grey color scheme and no superfluous decoration. Large windows bring in natural light and frame the view of a green park in front of the building. An original partition wall was removed, so the study and the living room remain connected and sunlight reaches the whole interior. Materials include steel-brushed timber veneer, special paint, marble-patterned artificial masonry slate, imported tiles and black metalwork.
Sun Bathed Greenery Residence by Derson Chiu was selected as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Sun Bathed Greenery Residence received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design award which honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
