Combine
Combine is an open-plan office interior completed in Shanghai in 2019. The design follows a grey color scheme and a calm, contemporary character. A long table lit from below runs through the space, recalling a library setting. Two continuous arch-shaped doors and a brick wall add rhythm and depth. Carpet is used on the floor for acoustic comfort, while fire-proof board defines the functional zones and holds storage. Glass partitions bring daylight into the meeting rooms. Energy-saving LED fixtures light the interior.
Combine Office by Carlie Ling - K.D Hsu was featured as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Combine Office won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design competition that honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
