Qinglu
Qinglu is a residential interior design for a villa of 700 square meters. Many windows of the original building were removed and reworked to introduce natural light and improve indoor daylighting. The narrow stairwell lobby was widened into an arc shaped space that connects indoor and outdoor areas. Gray and white base tones are combined with blue and green shades. A teahouse with plain wood surfaces adds eastern elements. The Chinese kitchen has two cooking stoves and two range hoods for frequent family gatherings.
Qinglu Residential House by Haoling Yu was featured as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Qinglu Residential House was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design accolade which rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
