Hilltop House
Hilltop House is a residential interior design for a single family home of 1300 square meters. The house stands on a mountain top, above a large wetland park. Three generations live in the home, so the colours, forms and functions of each area were planned for ages from under one year to over eighty years. The exterior walls facing the mountain were replaced with large glass panels on every floor. A 60 meter corridor with floor to ceiling glass surrounds the lower level. Chinese cultural elements, such as curved lines and bamboo shapes, guide the decoration.
Hilltop House Residential by Chun Tang was featured as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Hilltop House Residential won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design recognition program that rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
