Natural Flavor
Natural Flavor is a residential interior design for a 158 square meter apartment. The home includes a living room, dining room, kitchen, light bar, open study room, three bedrooms and two washrooms. Natural materials such as engineered flooring, wood blocks, retro bricks and marble create a loft style close to nature. A wall was removed to open the public area, so sunlight enters from three directions. A 45 degree beveled design turns a wasted corner into storage. All doors reach ceiling height to widen and extend the view.
Natural Flavor Residence by Ying Li Cheng has been featured as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Natural Flavor Residence won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design accolade which celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
