Oriental Courtyard
Jiayuan Oriental Courtyard is the interior design of a villa of 1000 square meters. Traditional Chinese elements are combined with modern materials, careful colors and detailed decoration to create a balanced and elegant modern oriental living space. The design keeps the original ceiling heights and the open spacing of the building. The open kitchen shares the same view as the living room and the outdoor courtyard, so family interaction becomes closer. In the basement, wood, metal, leather and marble highlight lines, and the wide use of wood recalls Chinese antique aesthetics.
Oriental Courtyard Villa by Haiyang Zhang was featured as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Oriental Courtyard Villa earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program which recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
