Cornerstone
Cornerstone of House is a residential interior design for an apartment of 85 square meters in Taipei. The home is located near a school district and a park. The original space is small and the ceiling is low, which limits the routing of the air conditioning pipes. A curved ceiling, varied tiles and colored walls create a distinct spatial experience. Color is used to define the function and the scope of each area. The study wall is halved to keep power supply for the desk and to add storage. Materials include marble, stainless steel, iron and tempered glass.
Cornerstone Home Space by Zheng Xi Pang, Yun Ting Wu was selected as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Cornerstone Home Space earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program which recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
