Tsubomiya 3rd
Tsubomiya 3rd is an osteopathic clinic located in the business district of Osaka, Japan. The interior reinterprets the calm atmosphere of a traditional Japanese ryokan in a contemporary way. A restrained palette of white, gray, and black is warmed by timber doors and delicate wooden latticework. Soft indirect lighting, subtle incense, and quiet music support a tranquil mood. Four private treatment rooms are kept dimmer than the entrance and corridors. The space covers 66.5 square meters and aims to ease both physical and mental tension.
Tsubomiya 3rd Osteopathic Clinic by SHUNSUKE OHE has been selected as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Tsubomiya 3rd Osteopathic Clinic was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
