Contemporary Archaeology Hall
The Contemporary Archaeology Hall uses innovative design and technology to transform archaeology into a thought provoking journey that links the past with modern society. Visitors become time travelers, exploring archaeological secrets in places like the Moai filled island of Rapa Nui, the Akrotiri ruins before a volcanic eruption, and the ancient tomb of a Viking female warrior. Along the way, they reflect on contemporary societal challenges and potential solutions.
Contemporary Archaeology Hall Exhibition by Fan Chieh Chien was identified as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Contemporary Archaeology Hall Exhibition earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize that celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
