Elegant Serenity
Elegant Serenity is a residential interior design in Taipei City, Taiwan, covering 1,025.68 square feet. The layout follows daily routines and flows from public areas to private ones. A mirrored circular ceiling acts as a visual anchor and reflects everyday life below. The ceiling was mounted on a custom metal frame and suspension system to ensure flatness and stability. In the dining area, a dark stone island, a cylindrical metal leg and a marble tabletop form one sculptural composition. Light, texture and proportion bring warmth to the calm, minimal home.
Elegant Serenity Residential House by Jian You Jhe was identified as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Elegant Serenity Residential House was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design award that celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
