Whispering Silence
This open plan residence is finished in artistic coating throughout: a material that absorbs and diffuses light rather than reflecting it, lending the walls a quiet depth that shifts across the day. Floor to ceiling windows allow natural light to move through the space from morning to evening without interruption. Rounded ceiling curves replace angular transitions, creating a continuity of form that softens movement between areas. The combination of matte surface, generous glazing, and fluid geometry produces an interior where stillness feels structural.
Whispering Silence Residential Interior by ANN TONG was selected as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Whispering Silence Residential Interior earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026.
