Casselden Lobby
The building design concept was to provide a unique but flexible work/leisure environment with Banquette seating, communal benches and loose furniture setting a new standard in customer experience creating an urban oasis for casual and organised meetings amidst textural elements, earthy tones, curated art, specialised lighting displays and greenery, blending the outdoor experience with internal spaces. Sustainability was a key factor in the refurbishment of the lobby through the retention of existing flooring and wall finishes that reflected the botanic landscape.
Casselden Lobby Banquette Seating by Peter Rattle - CUS (Vic) Pty Ltd has been highlighted as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Casselden Lobby Banquette Seating was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition which celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
