Elegance in Movement
Elegance in Movement is an interior design for a single level apartment of 67 square meters in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. The layout addresses the challenge of limited urban space. Non load bearing partitions were removed to increase openness and natural light. The plan includes a kitchen and dining area, a living room, a study, a master bedroom and two bathrooms. Deep brown wood and black iron elements define the dining area, while neutral gray and white tones calm the living room. Sustainable materials such as natural wood veneer, thin tiles and wood flooring were used.
Elegance in Movement Residential Building by Cheng Han Chan has been recognized as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award.
