Horng Shan House
Horng Shan House is a residential interior design for an apartment in Taiwan. The layout creates a spacious and open living space for a family of four. The concept draws on modernism and contemporary minimalist poetry, so simplicity guides the whole plan. Ultra high-performance concrete forms curved ceilings and curved wall surfaces. Large windows bring in ample natural light and support a warm and modern look. Tree shadows outside shift through the day and form a changing backdrop. Modular cabinetry in Morandi blue and pink adds a fresh and elegant tone.
Horng Shan House Residental Interior by Hung, Sheng-Tien has been featured as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Horng Shan House Residental Interior earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design competition which rewards excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
