Greater Hermit
Greater Hermit is a residential interior design for a 71.9 square meter apartment in Taiwan. The renovation divides the home into four rooms and narrows the corridor to gain more private area. Display shelves and cabinets are arranged to hold a large collection of custom-made models. Careful lighting highlights the details of each piece. A single-sided glass door keeps the view of the storage area clear. Marble, iron, glass, fabric and wood veneer are combined with gold accents in a minimalist style.
Greater Hermit Residence by AS International LTD was recognized as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Greater Hermit Residence was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize that rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
