Ajinomoto Taipei Headquarters is an office interior of 377 square meters in Taipei City. The office occupies a loft with an eight meter ceiling height on Zhongshan North Road. The design follows the Japanese Wabi-Sabi aesthetic, which finds beauty in imperfection. A theater catwalk outlines the vertical space, carries air conditioning, ventilation and lighting pipelines, and forms a safe platform for maintenance. A symmetrical hexagonal layout allows flexible furniture and a free address system without fixed seats. Soundproof booths provide privacy and reduce noise.
Ajinomoto Taipei Headquarters Office by Hank Lin has been selected as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Ajinomoto Taipei Headquarters Office won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024.
