The Woody Aroma of Cypress
Inspired by the connection between the owner and the geographical environment, the value of the space is created by several natural materials and collections. Surrounding with several owner's wood sculpture art treasures, the Cypress-filled flat is designed for a couple in the capital of Taiwan with openness and elegance. The 225 square meters apartment is filled with the clients' precious historical treasures from the floor to the ceiling, both decorative and practical.
The Woody Aroma of Cypress Residential by Yu-Shan Liu was identified as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. The Woody Aroma of Cypress Residential was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize that recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
