Our Place
Our Place is a residential interior design for an apartment of 102.4 square meters in Taiwan. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are combined into one open public area, shared by two residents with cats and a dog. The television wall is made of gray marble, and vertical lines in different shades extend the view. Hidden cabinets keep the wall surface continuous, while the hollow base of the cabinets serves as a cat walkway and cools electronic devices. The dining room wall uses natural wood veneer with hidden doors. Large windows bring natural light into the light color palette.
Our Place Residence by Louis Liu has been identified as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Our Place Residence was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design award which recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
