Leverage
Leverage is an office interior that also serves as a training facility for learning about health. The 407.2 square meter space includes a video studio with training equipment and a seminar room. The seminar room changes its appearance from day to night, and a bar corner opens in the evening for social gatherings. The stripe pattern of the hallway floor continues onto the glass of the meeting room, where a special rainbow-color film makes the stripes change as visitors move. A lighting system with adjustable colors creates varied atmospheres with little energy.
Leverage Office Interior by Teruhiro Kataoka was selected as a grand representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Leverage Office Interior received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program that celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
