Pucks Blue
Pucks Blue is a private residence interior of 410 square meters in Ningbo, China. The layout replaces the traditional rectangular plan with diagonal lines and geometric blocks, which create varied levels and a strong sense of depth. A skylight ceiling and non-parallel facades add further variation to the spatial structure. Blue and white artistic paint recalls the childhood memories and the years abroad of the owner. Boundaries between the functional areas are softened, so the open interior can also serve as a place for social gatherings.
Pucks Blue Private Homes by Changching Chien has been identified as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Pucks Blue Private Homes won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program that recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
