Track of Time
Track of Time is the interior design of a boutique wristwatch store in Taiwan. Grey is used as the main tone, applied through stainless steel panels, grey mirrors, melamine panels and tiles. Stone-like art installations made of digitally cut polystyrene give the space a distinct character. An open plan holds the display area, counters, a sofa area, a storage area, a pantry and a lavatory. An irregular staircase and linear lighting guide visitors along a gradual path. The calm and private setting supports unhurried viewing and selection.
Track of Time Watch Store by HERS INTERIOR DECORTION INDUSTY Limited was highlighted as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Track of Time Watch Store was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade that celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
