Timeless
Timeless is the interior design of a 165.2 square meter apartment on the sixteenth floor of a residential building in Taiwan. Rounded lines and arcs connect the different areas of the home. The public area uses gray and blue tones, with marble, crystal chandeliers, European-style trims and titanium-plated metal. The private area uses gray and purple tones for a calm and romantic mood. A corridor links both areas and is lit by induction lighting that brightens slowly as people pass. A tea area and a dressing room were added for the residents.
Timeless Residential by Kan-Shih Lee was selected as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Timeless Residential received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize that celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
