Serenity
Serenity is a residential interior design for a 105 square meter apartment in Taiwan. The home contains three rooms, a dining room and a living room. Low saturation colors in black, white and gray create a calm atmosphere. A gray mirror finish was applied to a 2.3 meter beam so that the space appears larger and brighter. Technological wood grain panels add subtle texture to the walls, and the use of paint was reduced to reveal the natural character of the materials. The foyer holds showcases for the collections of the residents.
Serenity Residence by No.2 design was recognized as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Serenity Residence earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize that rewards excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
