Whyte Woolf
Whyte Woolf is a fitness club interior in Xi'an, China. The club covers 2,300 square meters inside a large mixed-use commercial complex. The design contrasts references to ancient Eastern culture with modern Western industrial culture. Colors of the ceiling, floor, walls and furniture are kept unified to form a single strong visual impression. Materials include eco-friendly latex paint, mirror stainless steel, natural composite wood flooring and mosaic glazed brick. The layout was developed through site survey and three-dimensional modeling.
Whyte Woolf Fitness Club by Arthur Yang has been identified as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Whyte Woolf Fitness Club was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize that rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
