The Villa in Nature
The Villa in Nature is a residential interior design created for a single-family villa in Taiwan. The layout follows the preferences and needs of the family. Natural light and ventilation reach each of the four floors. The first floor holds the shared living, dining and kitchen areas, while the upper floors hold private rooms. Stone, stucco, wood and low-chroma colors echo the surrounding mountains and forests. Large windows and glass link the interior with the wooden outdoor terrace and the green landscape.
The Villa in Nature Residential House by Chih Ting Chen has been highlighted as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. The Villa in Nature Residential House earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade which recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
