Feather
Feather is a residential interior design for a two-story home in Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The original space had a low ceiling and complex partitions. The two floors were transformed into an open plan maisonette to create a tidy living area with a smooth flow. Neat lines and a cohesive black and white palette build a pure and calm space. Light wooden floor panels contrast with the white walls, ceiling and cabinets. Linear lights are embedded in the beams, the ceiling seams and the cabinet edges. The floor area is 110.6 square meters.
Feather Residence by Page Li has been recognized as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Feather Residence was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize which recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
