Elegance
Elegance is a restaurant interior located in Taipei. The 152 square meter dining space follows the arc-shaped form of the building, and floor-to-ceiling windows open the room to the city view. Vertical decorative panels with milled curved lines gain strength from the curved structure, so heavy decoration is avoided. Dim lighting and small dot lights mark the length and the height of the room. Wooden textures, gold frames and grey mirrors add warmth and widen the view. The intent is a calm and refreshing place for guests.
Elegance Restaurant by Jacksam Yang was featured as a grand representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Elegance Restaurant won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program that rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
