Gentle Grey
Gentle Grey is a residential interior design for a 125-square-meter apartment with four rooms and a living room. The layout is open, and lines, planes and materials are combined to connect the horizontal and vertical space. The public area features a Grigio Carnico marble television wall, while the dining room has a light stone countertop. Special paint, water-stained wood veneer and metal details complete the neutral grayscale scheme. The living room and work area share a large window, and an L-shaped sofa is linked to a desk.
Gentle Grey Residential by Yu-Wen Wang was identified as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Gentle Grey Residential won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program that honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
