Tasteful House
Tasteful House is a residential interior design for a family of three in Foshan, covering 120 square meters. The original layout was rearranged so that each area matches actual daily needs. Walls between the balcony, the living room and the dining room were removed to enlarge the space. A new wall set back 35 centimeters makes room for a board-style bookcase that holds books and ornaments. A black and white palette highlights the colorful objects. A two-meter coffee table with a fixed rotating chair supports parent and child interaction.
Tasteful House Residential by Evans Lee has been identified as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Tasteful House Residential received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade which recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
