Wuzhen Jintang
Wuzhen Jintang is a club interior located in Jiaxing, covering 8631.8 square meters. The design takes its name from brocade, a silk fabric woven from colorful threads, and applies rich colors and woven shapes to create an embroidery-like space. Red and green are interwoven to recall Chinese classical culture and to blend it with modern forms. The original enclosed building structure was opened to increase interaction between indoor and outdoor areas. The materials include stone, wood veneer, metal, cloth, leather, glass, aluminum plate, rock plate and shell mosaic.
Wuzhen Jintang Club by Kai Tang has been recognized as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Wuzhen Jintang Club won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade which celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
