Aoka
Aoka Sales Office is a sales center in Xianyang, China, covering 12814 square meters. The interior combines modern simplicity with art, using curves, light and shadow, stone forms and geometric elements. The reception desk has a customized curved shape that resembles a sculpture. Artworks and sculptures are placed through the space, and the negotiation area offers a relaxed atmosphere. Hyperboloid surfaces produce changing light effects under different lighting. The design refers to the cultural heritage of the Qinhan New City.
Aoka Sales Center by Miaoyi Jiang was highlighted as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Aoka Sales Center earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize that rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
