Pinxiu Xingyue
Pinxiu Xingyue is a model room interior design for a residence of 135 square meters in Guangzhou. The living room and the dining room are joined in an open layout, which widens the space and removes the feeling of enclosure. The dining area holds a multifunctional table with a movable socket that combines appearance and function. A separate multifunctional room serves as a study, a handicraft workshop and a reading area. Glass, light and simple furniture details shape a calm modern interior intended for family life.
Pinxiu Xingyue Model Room by Mto Design Artworks was highlighted as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Pinxiu Xingyue Model Room was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize that recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
