Evening Mist Morning Light
Evening Mist Morning Light is a residential interior design project of 119 square meters, completed in Hsinchu, Taiwan. The home was arranged for the mother of the owner as a place to live after retirement. Partial wall structures shape the hallway and living areas, and a clear glass sliding door stands between the living room and the dining room. Broad plain storage cabinets, light-color wood cabinets and a concealed dressing room keep the interior simple and easy to clean. Dark grey marble, stone and aluminum framed mirrors give the bathroom a calm character.
Evening Mist Morning Light Residence by Jia Ru Chen has been highlighted as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Evening Mist Morning Light Residence was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize which honors excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
