SLOW DANCE
Slow Dance is a residential apartment interior design covering 225 square meters in New Taipei City. The dining room serves as the axis of the home. A sculptural spatial object stands in the dining area, partly open and partly solid, formed from angular ironwork combined with stone and woodwork. The metal frame can hold flower vases or photo frames, and a sliding shelf door in the middle provides storage. Natural stones, dyed wood veneer and striped glass balance cool modern elements with a warm and homelike character.
SLOW DANCE RESIDENTIAL APARTMENT by YII Design was recognized as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. SLOW DANCE RESIDENTIAL APARTMENT was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition that honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
