Shanghai Yuemao Mansion
Shanghai Yuemao Mansion is a model room designed for a residential development in Jiading District, Shanghai. The apartments are compact, with main layouts of around 80 to 90 square meters. The design was inspired by the resin sun plate used in the building. Linear elements are repeated and techniques are simplified to suit the small space. Circulation areas are integrated into the functional rooms, which expands the usable area. Materials include plain wallpaper, sun board, metal inlay, gray tiles and beige marble.
Shanghai Yuemao Mansion Model Room by Ac Design has been featured as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Shanghai Yuemao Mansion Model Room received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition which celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
