Villa House ZM
Villa House ZM is a residential interior design created for a young family in the centre of Bratislava, Slovakia. The apartment covers an area of about 180 square metres. The interior combines naturally based materials, including a light oak wood floor, stone surfaces, mirrored glass accessories and playful colour. Warm lighting supports a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Separate living zones were arranged within one larger area, so that function and appearance remain balanced. The design was developed through concept sketches, mood boards and detailed drawings.
Villa House ZM Residential Interior by Jozef Tucny was highlighted as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Villa House ZM Residential Interior received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition which celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
