Royalty
Royalty is a residential interior design created as an extension of an existing house in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The project covers about 700 square meters, and the ceiling heights range from 5.4 to 6.5 meters. The layout includes a daily sitting room, a main guest sitting room, an entrance hall, a service area and a dining room arranged as a gallery for photography, paintings and sculpture. The bedrooms are identical and recall a luxury hotel. Gothic arches and columns are combined with Islamic patterns to give the added spaces a distinct and welcoming character.
Royalty Residential House by Mea'ad Al-Abboud has been featured as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Royalty Residential House was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize which recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
