Reunion
Reunion is a residential apartment interior designed for gathering and social interaction. The layout is open, and unneeded partitions were removed to form one public zone that holds a dining kitchen, an audio-visual room and a multifunctional yoga room. A kitchen island joined with a table forms the core for dining and conversation. A layered ceiling reduces the visual effect of low crossbeams, while storage, bathroom and cooking areas are placed behind walls. White surfaces, timber and stone create a calm and warm setting. A dark glass sliding door can be opened or closed as a partition.
Reunion Residential Apartment by Lin, Cheng Hou was highlighted as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Reunion Residential Apartment was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design competition which honors superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
