Reverse Time
Reverse Time is a residential interior design based on an industrial style. Iron elements are combined with modern furnishings to soften the rigid character of the industrial look. A wooden table is suspended by iron supports, and leather furniture links the metal parts with the wooden floor. The concrete ceiling meets a gray-scale natural white oak floor and light brown laminated wood walls. Pipelines are hidden within the space to keep the layout calm and practical. Rust-like paint gives the iron parts a natural aged surface.
Reverse Time Residence by JEFF HSU, HOWARD LIU has been selected as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Reverse Time Residence won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design competition which celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
