Blazing Box
Blazing Box is a gym interior located in Taipei, Taiwan. Monochromatic tones of black, gray and white are combined with lighting and clean design elements to create a high technology feeling and to link the space with its surrounding community. A nine meter high wall marks the entrance. The star-shaped logo of the fitness brand is made of wooden materials wrapped with strip lights for a futuristic effect. Geometric patterns above are covered with titanium plates shaped by laser cutting. About 1,000 meters of line lights define the different areas.
Blazing Box Gym by Tai Chieh, Huang was featured as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Blazing Box Gym won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design recognition program that honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
