Ukiyoe
Uphold the concept of "handling complexity by simplicity". The exterior of the building uses wooden louvers to embody the image of mountain and forest culture, and the expression of Japanese "shaded" thinking. The designer used the work of Ukiyo, reflecting Japanese culture; the private box brings out the glorious feeling of the Edo period. Subverting the conveyor belt sushi dining style, the designer uses a double track design and narrow the distance between the chefs and guests in the ltabasahi area.
Ukiyoe Restaurant by Fabio Su has been featured as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Ukiyoe Restaurant earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program which honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
