Little Dome
Little Dome is a club interior located in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. The design integrates natural elements into the indoor space. Miniature plant landscapes bring the appearance of nature inside. A forest-like landscape greets visitors as they enter the club. The intent is to create an elegant and comfortable space within a busy metropolis. The main challenge was the location of the site, which limited the entry of sunlight and plants. Natural aesthetics are used to give the interior a calm atmosphere. The project was completed in 2019.
Little Dome Club by WenLi Wu was featured as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Little Dome Club received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade that rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
