Life Scenery
Life Scenery is an interior design for a private house in Tamsui, New Taipei City. The indoor area is approximately 66 square meters. The living room, dining room and study are arranged as one connected space. Traditional main walls and closets are removed to widen the view and to improve movement. Movable furniture allows the balance between the three areas to change. Materials include imported paints, seamless flooring, imported lights and custom long tables made of old wood. Natural tones link the rooms with the sunlight and the river outside.
Life Scenery Private House by YA-YUN has been recognized as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Life Scenery Private House earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition that recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
