Lea Annees Lumiere
Lea Annees Lumiere is the interior design of a villa in Qingyuan, Guangdong, China. The project covers 190 square meters and rises through four storeys around a staircase patio. Main materials include marble, burnt stone, metal and imported fabrics, and the carpet contains silk for a soft touch. A handmade installation of copper sheets runs through the staircase void. Wood tones are combined with black, white and grey to create a calm and natural atmosphere. The basement level holds a living room, a gym, a wine cellar and a bar.
Lea Annees Lumiere Villa by Sara Xiong was highlighted as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Lea Annees Lumiere Villa earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award that celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
