Bathed in Sunlight
Bathed in Sunlight is a residential apartment interior designed for a family of three. An open layout with redefined compartments allows the spaces to be used in a flexible way. The gallery, the corridor and the doorframe are enlarged so that sunlight reaches every corner. The living and dining rooms are reoriented to support interaction between parents and children. Storage at the entrance, in the dining room and in the kitchen is combined. White, marble and earth tones, wainscoting, metal trim and easy-to-clean terrazzo floors give a neat finish, while plants add green life.
Bathed in Sunlight Residential Apartment by Wu Yi Lun has been featured as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Bathed in Sunlight Residential Apartment won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design recognition program that recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
