Yappy Bookstore

Yappy Bookstore is a multifunctional bookstore interior in Taipei, Taiwan, covering 450 square meters. The space is used for reading, film screenings, lectures and music performances. The large beams and columns of the old building are treated as camera frames that guide views across the rooms. Vintage books, bricks, iron, old window frames and concrete are combined, so old and new surfaces meet without a clear boundary. A red book wall leads visitors through the interior. Small openings in the walls bring daylight inside, and a high stage blurs the border between performers and audience.

Graceful Home

Graceful Home is a residential apartment interior located in Taipei City, with a floor area of 49.5 square meters. Leisure and brightness guide the whole design. Because the indoor space is small, sloped surfaces define the different areas, use the plan efficiently and widen the sense of sight. Iron details, coatings and imported tiles create contrasting textures. Clear lines, precise layouts and a minimalist Nordic character shape the rooms. Large windows bring daylight inside and open the views to nature.

Spark

Spark is a residential interior design for a four-floor house with a total area of 1,448 square meters. Partitions were reduced to join the kitchen, dining area and lounge in one open plan. Large windows bring natural light into the living room and frame views of the garden.

A Valley In The City

A Valley In The City is a marketing experience center whose interior takes inspiration from the hills, ravines and streams of Guangdong province. Bionic forms create a modern and minimalist setting, with a ravine hidden within the urban landscape. The ravine and the enclosed houses are wrapped in white punched aluminum plates, which give the space a profile of varying layers. Window apertures are scattered across the walls to frame views along the route. A bamboo installation artwork made by traditional craft inheritors extends about 300 meters through the space.

The Attic

The Attic is a residential interior design for a family home in Taipei, Taiwan. The home occupies an attic space six meters high. The living room, dining room and kitchen are placed in one open area without dividing walls, so daylight crosses the whole floor and family members can talk freely between the rooms. Iron, cement and wood are combined with white walls to balance the raw industrial character. The television is set on a swivel mount and can face the sofa, the dining room or the kitchen. Marble, quartz brick and light wood flooring define each area.
